Fountainscapes Natural Pools and Aquatic Habitats

A Flinders Ranges-inspired backyard waterscape, designed to create a thriving aquatic habitat for local fauna.

Expansive ponds, layered waterfalls, a natural wetland filtration zone, a sandy beach entrance, and Carey Gully sandstone come together to shape a landscape that feels rugged, immersive, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Enveloped by native planting, the space captures the beauty of the Australian landscape, creating a garden environment that feels rich, restorative, and visually striking. Positioned above and to the side of the main waterscape, a three-piece urn fountainscape adds a distinct focal point and a further sense of movement within the garden.

The Crafers Aquatic Habitat has been featured on Channel 7 News and welcomed visitors through multiple Open Gardens SA events, with proceeds supporting Koala Rescue.

To create a Flinders Ranges-style backyard that feels both naturally grounded and beautifully elevated.
